My myth is about how global warming is actually a natural phenomenon and not caused by man.
I initially thought that the myth was true because there have been many unexplainable accounts of our Earth's history such as the Ice Age, volcanic eruptions, and long periods of rain or sunshine. I thought that global warming might also be a natural process as well, that we humans can do nothing about it. I accepted the possibility that pollution and CO2 emissions weren't as harmful to our planet as we believed.
After looking at some scholarly articles with credible resources and studies, I now have reaffirmed to myself that global warming is mainly caused by man, that we can see its effects on our planet such as dirty water, acidic rain, and hot days because of us.
